Where are Disciples Made...On the Journey

Welcome to our livestream! In 1 Peter 2, Peter describes the church as a spiritual house, with Christ as the cornerstone and believers as living stones. He says that we are being built up into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

From this, we can see that discipleship happens within the context of the church community. We are not meant to grow in isolation, but rather as a part of a larger spiritual family. Through our interactions with one another and our joint commitment to following Christ, we can be built up into a strong and holy community of believers.

As we seek to grow as disciples ourselves, let's remember the importance of being a part of a larger church community and supporting one another in our journey of faith.
