Groups
There are lots of ways to get involved at Calvary Burlington, but one of the best ways to grow in your faith is to join a group. Discipleship Groups are small group Bible studies where you can see your faith in Jesus become mature, and where you can become a disciple-maker.
What is Disciple-Making?
Disciple-making is an intentional activity by a follower of Jesus Christ to encourage and teach others to know and faithfully follow Jesus Christ. It's done by every believer, and is not limited to a specific time or place, although we would view the Sunday worship service as a primary disciple-making opportunity. Disciple-making is teaching, equipping and encouraging others around us to take a "step to the right" and grow in their spiritual journey. It is a call to our own spiritual transformation as we nurture the spiritual transformation of others.
