Seniors Lunch

Friday, May 12

Our guest on Friday, May 12 is Tara Rusin from Burlington Memorial Gardens - Arbor Memorial.

Tara has been a Cemetery Director for Arbor Memorial for several years, assisting and supporting the Burlington and surrounding communities with useful information regarding Estate Planning and the Power of Preplanning.  Her educational background and degrees are in Gerontology – working with older Adults as well as Business Management.

Tara comes with an extensive background and knowledge of the aging and  bereavement industry, allowing for her clients to feel comfortable and assisted during one of the most difficult times. Tara will be providing materials regarding Power of Attorney, a Will Guide and a Family Registry as tools for your preplanning.

She is supporting the local baker by providing lunch and desserts from Brick Oven Bakery.

Who are we?

We are a group of people who believe in the power of coming together and building meaningful relationships. We believe that the act of coming together and sharing a meal is an important part of building strong connections and creating a sense of community.

What do we do?

We create a welcoming space for seniors in our church and community to come together and share a meal. Through fellowship  we strive to create an environment where seniors can find comfort, support, and inspiration. We believe that in coming together, we can strengthen our faith and build a strong sense of community, rooted in the love of Jesus.

When do we meet?

We meet one Friday at month at 12:00 pm. The upcoming lunches are as follows:
  • May 12, 2023
