Digital Bulletin

Calvary Burlington is a place where people of all ages and backgrounds meet for worship, teaching, and to grow in our faith. Our hope is that you would find a place where people can see and experience the love of Jesus. That Calvary would be a church where people can be engaged in community, be evangelized through solid biblical teaching, respond to the Gospel and be established in the faith, and then be equipped to help others take a step to the right toward spiritual maturity. It's our prayer that in everything we do, we are living out our calling to be disciples who make disciples.

If you are looking to explore who Calvary is and what we believe, you may also want to check out our Events page, What We Believe, and our Groups section. If you have any questions , don't hesitate to reach out via text (289-803-3530) or email (hello@calvaryburlington.ca)

WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING AT CALVARY BURLINGTON?

news for this week

Join us Sunday at Calvary Burlington. Coffee and tea are available both before and after the service each week; bring your own reusable mug if you'd like! Come early, grab some coffee. The service begins at 10:00 am.

On March 8 we launch into a new series, God at Work in the Ordinary.

Life doesn’t always go as planned, does it? Plans can fall apart, health can take a turn for the worse, finances can tighten, and relationships can change. Sometimes, we look up and wonder, “Where is God in all of this?”

Over the next four weeks, we’re going to explore the book of Ruth together. It’s a short story in the Old Testament, but it’s packed with huge hope. Ruth starts with famine, loss, and deep bitterness. Naomi feels empty. Ruth is a foreign widow with no security and no clear future. But quietly, steadily, God is working.

In our work, in our home, in our conversations, and in our everyday discipleship,

Ruth shows us that God’s providence is often subtle, but never absent. He is with us. He works through everyday faithfulness. He provides a redeemer. He restores what feels lost. And in the end, this small, familiar story becomes part of a much bigger one—leading to King David, and ultimately to Jesus, our Saviour.

This series will remind us that no season is wasted in God’s hands. Your life and troubles are not unseen. Your obedience is not insignificant. Your story is not random but useful and beautiful. And more than all this, God is completely faithful.

If you’re walking through grief, waiting, uncertainty, or quiet faithfulness that feels unnoticed, The book of Ruth will steady your heart. Come and see how God moves from emptiness to redemption—and how he is still writing stories of grace today.

Join us this Sunday as we begin.

Become a church member

Church membership is an important part of growing as a believer. While anyone is welcome to attend a service and get involved in many capacities, church membership is a formal commitment to belong to the church and to grow in community as you worship and serve together. Find out more online, or ask for a membership packet with all the details.
