The Gift of Grace

You might have heard that grace is “unmerited favour”, meaning that it is something we receive from God that we don’t deserve (that’s what makes it ‘unmerited’!). But here’s the cool thing– the gift of grace is something that we have received from Christ but we can offer to others. We can offer compassion, kindness and love to someone even if they might not appreciate it. God rescued us and loved us when we didn’t deserve it. In this way we are living out the verse, “We love because He first loved us”. (1 John 4:19).

It's pretty awesome that a gift we have in Christ is one that we can share with others so freely. Who will you share this gift with this day?
