Best Practices Training

for working with Children, Youth, and Vulnerable Adults at Calvary Burlington

Start serving with Kids Ministry or student Ministry

If you're just getting started with KidsMin or StuMin, begin by filling out the application to serve. After that, we'll be in touch with your next steps!
After you have filled out the application, download a copy of the policy and procedures so you can start working on your training videos.

Download a copy of the 2023 Best Practices Policy and the Current Procedures

  • Please contact Candi Thorpe to request a paper copy of the policy if you would  prefer one to be printed for you.
  • Read through the policy and the procedures before you begin the videos. Don't worry -- you don't have to memorize them :) But it gives you a birds-eye-view of the policy when you read them in their entirety. Once you're done reading the policy and the procedures, watch the videos and take the quizzes as you go along.
  • There are three videos regarding procedures for KidsMin, StuMin, and Emergency Response. Click here to view them.
