Where do you turn when life hurts?

In the opening verses of 1 Corinthians, Paul reminds us that God is "the Father of mercies and God of all comfort." He doesn't promise a life without suffering, but he does promise his presence in the middle of it. Even more, the comfort we receive from God is meant to overflow into the lives of others.
