Giving at Calvary Burlington
Everything we own and everything we have comes from God, so our giving (or "offering") is simply how we offer God a small portion of all the abundance He has already given to us.
The Old Testament instructed believers to give a tithe, or a tenth (10%), of their earnings because this represented the first part of what they had received. The New Testament doesn't suggest any specific percentage for giving, but simply reminds believers to give in keeping with how much you have earned (1 Corinthians 16:2). Giving is not meant to be legalistic, but a joyful expression of worship and thanks to God!
Your giving supports the work of the Calvary Burlington not only on Sundays, but 7-days per week. Calvary is involved in our community through partnerships with many organizations, including Healthy Kids Community Challenge, Halton Regional Police, Halton Public Heath Department, Community Development Halton, North BurLINKton Community Group and many more.
You can give to Calvary Burlington by cash or cheque, online through Email Money Transfer, or through Canada Helps. Please include your personal information so that we can issue a tax receipt.
